What Customers Say About SanDisk Sansa Clip 1 GB MP3 Player (Black):

And you'd think the clip wouldn't matter, but I have a different player without a clip, and it's much harder to use. I love this player. Overall, great value if you're looking for a non-iPod mp3 player. The clip player works wonderfully though--I can just clip it on and go. You can put subscription-based audiobooks on it. And it holds plenty of them too.

A good set of standard ear phones or ear buds is relatively cheap. Don't let that discourage you from purchasing this fine player. My only criticism is that the ear buds that come with it are subpar.

Downloading my playlist to the player couldn't have been easier. It is light and clips to your waist so it is perfect for working out. If you are looking for a terrific and inexpensive MP3 player then this is the one.

It even has a screen, unlike the Apple shuffle, so it is easy to determine where you are on your playlist. I used the buds from my old player and everything sounds great. It didn't require special software, I just copied the music from the music directory on my computer to the folder for the player.

It charges on the computer and holds a charge for 15 hours so there are no batteries to buy.

My Sansa 1GB Clip MP3 player is the new audio love-of-my-life for my daily walks while enjoy music. But really, the Sennheiser heaphones would be enough. It comes with a cable so that you connect your Koss to your MP3 player and then plug your headphones into your Koss, which runs on batteries. The Sansa is very easy to navigate due to an adequate screen size and, more importantly, well-placed buttons that are easy to press. They are lightweight and even fold up. Using my computer, I rip my CD's at 128kbps which truly IS adequate for a real good listening experience and perfect for storing plenty of music into 1 gb of storage spaceon this MP3 player.

I highly-recommend that you go that route. I am a 40-ish year old musician who is very "aware" of the quality of sound, but not anal about it. I love great sound quality like anyone else. In my case, I used the Sennheiser PX-200 heaphones that go over your head, like traditional heaphones.

Many MP3 players come packaged with inferior ear-wear. If you want to make the BEST of your listening experience, get yourself a real good set of headphones or earbuds. The Sennheiser model compliments the Sansa Clip MP3 player perfectly. I only take time to write a review when I am truly excited about a product, and the Sansa Clip 1GB is worth every word.

If you want additional tonal choices, you can get a 3-band equalizer that is made by Koss. The player is so small and light-weight, that it is effortless to carry with you. If you prefer earbuds, you can find some nice choices made bySennheiser or Sony. A well-rounded sound will have nice highs, mids and lows.

These provide a wonderful bass sound with plenty of mids and highs. Now please pay attention to what I am going to say, here. The Sansa has a good clean sound with various Equalizer settings, including the option of selecting your own "custom" settings, which is what I do. I have owned MANY MP3 players in my time, and the Sansa is one of THEE best, easily.

The first thing I love vs my old player is easy to use controls when you are on the go. I had an older pair of Panasonic over the ear clips (about [.]. I was totally suprised that this MP3 player delivered just as good as my 70 Samsung player, and it was much easier to use. AS for the sound of the MP3 player, I must warn you that the headphones that come with this are horrible. After washing my Samsung 1G MP3 player by accident, I was in the market for a MP3 player that I could use for my workouts.

You dont even need the clip. Another great feature. Dont judge the players sound by the headphones. I just drag and drop right into Windows Media Player from my songs folder to make my playist. Sounds simple enough, but the controls here all click, so there is no more need to fumble around when you are on the go. No need to download software. The Samsung used a touch pad, that was like the size of a penny, and I always hit the wrong button, which would usually require me to slow down my run, or interupt some other part of my workout to fiddle with the thing to get it to the menu I needed. I also think that using the custom EQ is the best sound quality, so make sure if you order this, you try to adjust the sound, and at least get a better pair of headphones (Phillips, Sony, Sentry, JVC, and Panasonic all make headphones in different styles that are under ten bucks that got decent reviews, so you dont have to spend a fortune for a simple upgrade) The player is also plug and play.

Of course, most of you that are looking at a 1G player are only going to be using it for working out, or something to listen to on the go. for the pair) and when I tried those, it was a world of diffrence. It fits perfectly in your pocket, and its got a hold button on it, so you can lock in your volume and songs. My last player had the worst controls. Not only that, the menu is a breeze to use.

Generaly happy with the purchase, although the fact that I could not create "Albums" or prioritize my music easily is annoying.
